Living in Manuel Antonio, we usually bust out a big shopping trip in one day, in and out of the Central Vally.
This time we have too much to accomplish in one day. I’m looking for a decent and not expensive place to stay in the Escazu area, any suggestions? La Garrita is a bit far out, and we don’t like staying right in town. Most of our errands are in the Santa Ana and Escazu area Thanks for any help.

Did you see this B&B that was featured in a recent article on wlcr.com?

Both this one and the B&B above, are owned by Canadians.

So, Shirley, is that a recommendation or a warning?

Well… I do know both parties! And I don’t want to offer a preference over one or another, but offer recommendations for both.

Pranaspakeywest,
You can check http://www.tripadvisor.com. The website provides ratings provided by past customers. I hope you to find the right place to stay in Escazu or Santa Ana.

Hello

I recommend the Boutique Hotel Out of Bounds. … safe clean and right across from the Taj Mahal restaurant. A short walk down to a small plaza with multiple restaurants also a supermarket at Centro commercial La Paco. Meranda and Matteo are great. Prices are excellent. Rooms are special. Tico breakfast comes with.
