    Any suggestions for the best priced 4×4 small SUV rental company?

    Be wary of the grey market operators. While some have been treated well, others have not. Just how much inconvenience and disappointment can you tolerate?

    Rental cars are not cheap in Costa Rica and the companies are very competitive on rates. Shop around but remember the old adage that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

    We only deal with Adobe Rent a car. Never have been disappointed!

    I have used Adobe, for the last four years. Great service, large selection of vehicles, pick-up and delivery, from and to the airport. You have to ask, they have an excellent frequent customer discount. With the frequent customer discount, I save on average $250.00, for a two week rental.

    Stay away from USave. Low rental but they tried to clip us $50 US a day for insurance.
