So they have shelved the New International Airport, in favour of improving on the Palmar Sur current regional airport. Will this be a third International airport when its complete? The savings sound pretty large. (25 million vrs. 50 million.
If and when this goes ahead, I suppose we are looking at at least 5 years??? any comments?
Will this news impact realty prices in the Southern Osa area?
If you search the site Scott has commented on this many times. It appears he was right – it will never happen.

Yes I know, but if I am reading it right, they will be using the current Palmar Sur airport and making it an International Airport. I wouldn’t think this would delay the project as long as if it were a brand new airport.
winoguy if you are considering purchasing property in this area, and it is important to you that there be an international airport close by, I would advise you to forgo the purchase, unless you want to wait for possibly another 10 years 🙄
