What is used in Costa Rica for:
1. tool shed (meaning about 18 x 12 cabin with door and window)?; and
2. What Spanish description is used to describe the latticed upright open roofs used to protect garden crops from the heavy rains. Sometime I recall you can see them with white covering in the really hot season.
I hope this makes sense, if not please ask me questions.
Thanks,
Tom in Portland, Oregon
Well, my Apple translator app sez that a tool shed is a
vertiente de la herramienta
and an open roof is a
tejado abierto
(Those of you who actually speak Spanish are all welcome to have a good laugh.)
Tom;
A tool shed for you is like a “Bodega” to a tico.
“Bodega” is a Spanish word for storage and was used originally for storing vine.
