Knowing mrs. Margie Davis as a serious writer, I was hoping to learn something interesting about this area near San José.

But the article was ruined by 5 (five) “real-estate-and-shop-promoting-ads”.

Sorry, last time I read this kind of article.

I’d be very interested in knowing if you send the same critical emails to other completely free sites like AMCostaRica.com for example which today has 18 (EIGHTEEN) ads on their front page???

Ah…but it is a ‘Newspaper’ and the ads are ‘off-side’ not ‘smack dab’ in the middle of the write-up and we are, talking about an short, but interesting article.

Hmmm… Will be the “last time I read this kind of
article”…and that would be who’s loss? Yours.

Ahh that’s right… This is a non-profit social website that supports itself by? Did you take your meds today? If you haven’t moved to Costa Rica yet… please stay where you are. Sorry Scott:lol:

@mr. Scott: an article that is interrupted in this way is no fun to read.

Why not interrupt with relevant pictures ? That would make the story even better.

Thank God I have a pointing device with a scroll wheel so that I could get past these aggravating commercials. How ever would I survive without it???

With all due respect to everyone. This is Scott’s web site and he can set it up how he fits. Sure it is somewhat an infomercial. You are not forced to respond to any advertisement and you are not forced to post here at all. Scott has to make a living like anyone else. I don’t always agree with Scott but like i said; we are in his house.

    Dear Mr or Mrs. “j-jones”

Do you really not have anything better to do with your time?

Do you understand that you have a choice in what you read?

And you also understand that this is not a charity?

My website is a free website to you and I will promote whatever I want to promote on my site – whether you like it or not, (and especially since you are only one of two people out of 17,000+ who have ever complained about my promotions) so get used to it!

    Lastly…

This is a Discussion Forum where adults DISCUSS things, and not a Whiner’s Forum so, if you don’t like our articles or the promotions within them and all you have to contribute is pathetic little complaints about promotions we have on the site PLEASE feel free to unsubscribe.

I don’t like speaking for others (who are welcome to voice their opinions) but I think I can safely say that we will not miss you.

    Scott

    2 out of 17,000 ?

Please mr. Scott, try to be realistic.
Most of the 17,000 will not take the time to write any comment. Most of the 17,000 will not read even it.

I know my comment may be a litlle rude, but you didn’t take it as an advice to make an improvement on the presentation of stories on your website.

So this topic may result in a discussion how articles can be better readable AND promote YOUR ACTIVITIES IN THE COSTA-RICA-REAL-ESTATE-BUSINESS.

Your goal is not getting us informed, your goal is making money (nothing wrong with that).

I am not complaining about your promotions, but about the PLACE in the article……

What a bunch of trifling nonsense. Get a life buddy. Sorry Scott that you and those of us who enjoy your site have to listen to this whiny **** stuff. If you don’t like it move on. No one is forcing you to read any given article. Oh I see, that was just constructive criticism, right. If you can’t find the information within these articles you never will.

For you it is nonsense, well okay.

But this article “New Costa Rica Women’s Club In San Isidro del General” was nice and readable, with relevant pictures.

    Thanks Scott.
