I currently have a home in Playa Hermosa. Can anyone recommend whether to buy a jacuzzi in Costa Rica,or, to ship one in a container from the U.S. I am also concerned about the quality of a Costa Rica purchase. I am seeking the most cost effective and headache free route.
costaricafinca, you are right, I did see one on display, when I was there last. However, at their asking price, they would have to put a gun to my head to buy it!
DV, everything that’s imported to Costa Rica will be shockingly more expensive. It’s just a fact of life. I’m not advocating that you buy this jacuzzi, but I doubt you’ll find one significantly cheaper.
Plus the hassle of getting it to your door…
Ask around near your home, as I’m sure it won’t be the only one in town!
Also ask if someone could build you one. Check out [url=http://www.ecopiscinas.net/]this company[/url] and see what they can do. They are located in Orotina. I have seen some on display ‘in town’ but couldn’t tell you where, sorry.
