Hi!
I bought a Volkswagen here about two years ago from NASA automotriz in Uruca. Unfortunately, I seem to have picked up a lemon. The car has been trouble since the day I bought it and have had to sink quite a bit of money into it (And problems still keep coming up).
I’m thinking about selling it but am reluctant to buy another one out of fear of being stuck with another lemon (the devil you know).
Does anyone know if trade-ins are possible like they are in the states if I am not able to sell? My naiveté with buying a car has been sucked out of me with this one and will be a lot more careful in the future. I’m hoping that maybe I’ll be able to do an exchange and then finance a newer (and more Costa Rica sound) car.
Thanks for your time!
Many of the used car dealers on the road leading from the autopista to Grecia say, ”recibimos”. I take that to mean that they’ll consider trade-ins. The deal they’ll offer you is anyone’s guess.
Thanks David! I’ll look into that…
