Well….now that the topic has been opened, it’s something I’ve been interested in for a long, long time and have seen plenty of info from people state side who have gone to CR for their “improvements” but I’d like to hear from CR residents for recommendations or comments on surgeons/patients experiences.
Now I understand that all you expats down there are already drop dead gorgeous & don’t need these kinds of services, but perhaps you just know somebody else who did and can share their experience 🙂
I know many people who have had some “improvements” done in Costa Rica but, for personal reasons – which is totally understandable – very few of them are willing to discuss their experiences.
Perhaps we have some VIP Members who are willing to discuss what they had done and how it turned out …
Please also note that on the advice of my attorneys in Costa Rica, we will not allow any negative comments about specific surgeons in this forum or anywhere on my site.

WeLoveCostaRica.comBeing beyond any hope of actual improvement, I can’t comment directly on elective procedures, but I felt very well treated by Dr. Oscar Suarez R., whose office is next door to CIMA Hospital in Escazu, when I needed a suspicious growth removed from my eyelid last year.
He saw me the same day my opthamologist referred me and scheduled the surgery for the following morning. It (the surgery and the growth) came off without a hitch. I’d go back to him if I needed something else done.
