Panama Indians block Panama/Costa Rica border roads.

For those of you who travel to and from Panama by land….

The Ngobe Indians in western Panamá have blockaded the pista on the Panama side of Paso Canoas and are not allowing traffic to pass.

“Members of an Indian tribe in Panama are blocking roads in two provinces on the border with Costa Rica in a dispute over mineral exploitation on their lands.”
