I am wanting to familiarize myself with the rural areas around Heredia. Particularly areas that we wouldn’t need AC. Would we need to be up around the 4500 ft area? Any suggestions for roads to take on a day trip would be appreciated.
I’m not at all familiar with Heredia and so cannot help with that. However, we live at 4,200 feet and have no need for either air conditioning nor ceiling fans. Our windows are open 24/365. We occasionally see a daytime temperature of 80 degrees F and occasionally a nighttime temperature of 60 degrees F, but mostly our temperatures range from about 63 to 75 degrees F.
It’s actually cool enough here that many afternoons a sweatshirt or long-sleeved chamois shirt feels good.
