It is painful to watch what is going on in the US (literally the formation of the fourth Reich). Sometimes I feel that there is no escaping it, as there is a global agenda at hand and all nations will be impacted to a degree, some worse than others. Certainly very few nations will escape the Global Depression which is in its early stages. Yet I know things will end badly in the United States, and I feel bad for most Americans who can neither see what is transpiring or for those who refuse to see. Well, to the point, I have a family I must protect and so leaving the United States has crossed my mind on several occasions, and the two locations I always look back to are Costa Rica and New Zealand. But, like most Americans, I am of modest means and feel that such an option is really only reserved to the privileged or for those who have managed to save up enough over their lifetime. I have a technical background (Electrical Engineer) but I see very few opportunities available in Costa Rica for those with my background. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. If anyone has any good job leads, or knows where Americans best can search for such opportunities, please let me know. I understand Costa Rica is also struggling with its economy and with bad economy comes an increase in crime. I heard somewhere (I can’t remember from whom) that crime has gotten much worse in Costa Rica in the last few years. Is this true?
