    i know the answer should be obvious, but I’m still going to ask. are any of the governmental entities closed on 4th of July? i.e. would I be able to pick up my Cedula at Migracion on Friday, July 4, 2014? (It is awaiting my pick-up). Thanks in advance!!

    No, it isn’t a ‘special day’ here that warrants another holiday for Costa Ricans, so immigration will be open. Make sure your license plates are good for driving in town on a Friday.
