Am just beginning to redecorate my home in San Ramon and am not having much luck in finding much of a selection here in town. Anyone know where I might find a larger selction of upholstery fabrics? I realize probably have to go to San Jose but hoping someone might be able to give a little guidance.

I know a number of the stores seem to get their fabrics from la Selecta. (in san jose).Here’s a link to their site.

try Palmares. there are huge upholstery fabric warehouses there. one is on the main street coming into town. but there are other tucked away on side streets, too.
The best place I’ve found in the San jose area has been Yamuni. I’ve bought fabric from them on several occasions and have been satisfied with both their selection and prices. I usually shop at their San Pedro location but have bought from their San Jose store as well (on Avenida 10 or 12, just after you make the turn into town from La Sabana, near the McDonald’s).
