Does it seem reasonable to pay $210.00 US for three people plus luggage, to be driven from the San Jose airport to Ojochal. A few years ago we were paying much less about $150.00. I would normally drive down with a rental but we are arriving very late and I don’t want to drive that late after traveling all day. Does anybody know if there someone more reasonable in price.
Why not stay ‘in town’ overnight then drive down the next day?
The price of gas has risen dramatically since your last trip here.

To put these costs into perspective …
San Jose to Ojochal is about 150 miles, right? So $210/150 = $1.40 cents per mile, right?
