MemberWell, the property I was looking at, the owner would not finance. So once again I am looking for property. I need around 75 acres, these could be bought in parcels as long as they were joined, I am looking at no more than $1000 an acre maximum. Property needs to have some type of natural water on it, I prefer the property to be forest/jungle, and the terrain is flexible, some elevation is fine. If anyone knows of anything for sale let me know please. Thanks alot.

MemberWhat are your plans for this property? Most large parcels are sold by Hectare. 1 Hectare equals appx 2.47 acres. There are lots of websites online with large finca’s for sale, but if I have done my math correctly you are looking to spend about 25 cents per meter! I have yet to come across anything even remotely close to the price you are looking for.

MemberHello. My plans for the property are to build a small cabin or house on it, and that’s about it. I want to move to the property in the future, and have a secluded area to my self. I do not desire to cut down the trees, clear the land, or anything like that. I just want to live on land and be as self sufficient as possible. As far as the price. I have found many many many tracts of land for way less than I am asking to find it for. $1000 an acre is expensive. Land can be had for much cheaper than this all over Costa Rica.

I was talking to guys who have a farm near upala that might be what you close to what you are looking for, this is what they sent me:
The farm is 28 MA (50 acre) with plano and escritura. It has 200 meters of good public road frontage and is served with public water and power. The little house has been remodeled and has all new wiring. The rear boundary of the finca is the Rio Pizote which is a beautiful river. There are many fruit trees including Guanavanas, oranges, nances, lemons, and coconuts. All of the fencing is new. There are 2 manzanas of reforested melina that is about 10 years old. The land is high and gently rolling with a view of the Rincon de la Vieja. (volcano) There is newly planted brisanta grass for grazing cattle. I will sell it for 100G which is roughly .50 cents a meter. To the right person I’ll even consider financing.
If you are interested I’ll pass the contact info to you, I am not sure if I can post it here or not?
