We will be moving to CR within the next two months. We will stay in San Jose for about a week to do legal work. We are arriving with our cat. Where is the best place to stay comfortably in the Amon district?
Which is best Hotel Dunn Inn or Hemingway Inn? Others places?Scott refered us to a small inn called Casa Lauren in San Rafael de Escazu? Run by a great woman, free internet, quiet and clean. The location may not be good for you but we enjoyed our stay there while doing some legal work as well. I don’t have the contact info handy, but if interested you can get it from the “boss”.

In that area I would recommend the Hotel Don Carlos. It’s across the street from the Hemingway. Also while in the neighborhood have dinner at Cafe Mundo a few blocks up the hill, you can get a discount card at Don carlos good for 10% off your meal.
