Hello
I’m being advised in Canada to take my cell to Costa Rica, and it is on the GSM system. However they also advise me that if I cannot purchase a local SIM card the roaming charges of $2.00 per minute will apply. My question to any of the members is whether they have any difficulty in purchasing a SIM card, and if they are available, where do I go to make the purchase.
Thanks.
Michael

Thanks Scott, I did try searching for a thread under just “cell phone” and only got something very vague back. Thanks again, I’ll let you know if technology has changed much since last year.
