How true is it that new money transfer for expats will now be subjected to an immediate 10% tax unless you prove this is not income?
I read this from a website that I forgot to bookmark. Thanks.
Definitely not true on wire transfers…I just did one last week — US to a Costa Rica bank…no taxes withheld.
This is NOT true.
Some of my investment clients get wire transfers dozens of times per week and nothing is withheld apart from the standard wiring fees
