Any advice which is better. I know there’s the cable high speed (cabletica) and DSL. What’s your experience on any of these two?
Which one is better?

Theoretically, cable service should provide more bandwidth (allowing you to “burst” to very high speeds) but DSL can provide more consistent bandwidth (but you’ll get exactly what they tell you you will and nothing more).
From what I’ve heard, however, neither of them provide the kind of bandwidth we’re used to in the States and elsewhere, so it may not make much of a difference…
There is CableTica and Amnet which offer comparable services and the DSL which is available from ICE/RACSA.
I have used Amnet which I was delighted with and am now using CableTica because Amnet does not provide service in my new home – I am also very happy with CableTica.
There are posts in this forum and articles on the topis if you search for “Amnet” or “CableTica” or “DSL” in BOTH the forum as well as the articles, you’ll find more information.

Scott,
How much is the monthly fee for Amnet or Cabletica?
Anyone know how much the DSL from ICE costs?
Thanks.
