Our one & only (keep an extra)debit card was eaten by an ATH/ATM machine. We have had no luck getting card back so bank in US is arranging to have a card overnighted here. My question being….where is a good place to have something overnighted (in the Central Valley)

Two years ago, we used UPS overnight to send documents to the attorney who was handling our residency application. His office is in Casa Canada which is the same building that houses ARCR. The package arrived in less than twenty-four hours.

Another alternative we recently used was to have our new ATM cards send to a friend who is retired military and receives his mail at the U.S. Embassy in Pavas. There is a one-pound weight limit on anything sent care of an embassy, but once it’s in the State Department’s hands it is never touched by anyone except State Department staff.

I’m quite certain that the package delivery companies (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc) must make delivery to a physical address and not to a Post Office box. That’s why if you use ARCR’s mail forwarding service they give you both a box number and a street address in Florida.

    Sir
What is ARCR and their email. No you can’t do fedex or UPS to a PO Box. The cost is about $50 for fedex or UPS.
