    I was looking to take my wife and 2 children (10) and (8) on a family vacation any recomendations on places or towns to go to? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Jeff,
    My wife and I, 2 boys 8 and 5 have been here since June 2nd and have been to Volcann Arenal, Volcano Poas, and near Poas is “La Paz” a great set of water falls and also Aviary and Butterfly, Hummingbird and Frog living exhibits.
    We just got back from Quepos/ Manual Antonio on the Pacific and we got too enjoy Horseback rides, Surfing Lessons, Zip lining through the rain forest, etc and have really had a great time.
    I’m sure that there will be many more ideas from the others long timers that are more “in the know” than we are.

    Recently, we had guests in our guest house who took a Caravan Tours ten-day tour of Costa Rica. They raved about it.

    If you’re asking about the Caravan Tours tour, they have a website. Do a Google search.
