I totally agree on the reply concerning commercials on this and any forum I read/particiapate in, however I have heard and read online a a bit about a U.S. financing or mortgage for U.S. citizens purchasing property in Costa Rica and Panama and we should not discredit them prior to knowing more about the details, can anybody provide any information?
You are welcome to investigate the various companies that offer US type mortgage financing, I have certainly looked into many of them myself over the years and we ended up recommending mortgage brokers called Costa Rica Mortgage who have access to numerous funding sources.

WeLoveCostaRica.comThe program I heard about was farily recent (6 months?) which might be the same or similar to the one Mr. Isham posted about, there was an article in the Tico Times a few months ago about it however I don’t believe it mentioned specifics (bank or brokers, anyway if anybody has any input on that it would be interesting as well.
