I have a business friend that was invited by the President of C.R. to bid on the infrastrusture of all of C.R.(what going on?) what is your take on this? and if it is true he would like to meet with someone in the know about doing business in C.R.
That’s remarkable! I have a friend who was just contacted by the Minister of Finance for Nigeria. They need help getting millions of dollars out of their country before anyone notices.
Thank you AlbertoB for catching me by surprise and making me laugh out loud!
Sorry to joke around about this but I would suggest that this is not a ‘real’ deal.

PS. I believe Halliburton has already been awarded the Costa Rica infrastructure contract in a no bid, cost plus 250% deal which is just great for taxpayers.
Hmmm . . . Now if we could just get Bin Laden here, the U.S.’d invade and the U.S. taxpayers (mostly us) would foot the bill.
Is that +250% before or after unexplicable “cost overruns”, Scott?
Yup! An they want it paid in Euros… 🙂
When asked to confirm this, a spokesman for the company said that they no longer wanted “funny money” and would require payment in Euros, British Pounds or Japanese yen but would not accept US dollars… 🙂 FOR THOSE OF YOU STILL UNSURE ABOUT THIS WE ARE JOKING…. sort of.
You may recall Halliburton – which is making BILLIONS from the Iraq war/US taxpayer – moved its corporate headquarters from Houston, TX to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. [ http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Business/story?id=2942429&page=1 ]

Senor Laden has been here for five years.
The reason you don’t hear from him very often is…….. he is on Racsa dial-up. It takes forever to send those videos.
The military is looking in the wrong country. Or maybe they have a deal with Migracion to turn him over when the oil runs out in Iraq?
Unfortunately noriega didnt invade costa rica years ago as he did panama.
Too bad, then costa rica would have infrastructure, better roads and the ticos would be more used to americans and foreigners in general.
So it looks like they have to pay for it,instead of the military renovation.
