Just talked to someone from the Guanacaste Country Club. Has anyone here heard anything about this outfit?
It seems like a foolish endeavor to even consider buying anything in Costa Rica unless you have an “insider” referral from someone who knows someone reliable in C.R..
But I am always interested in hearing what other members have experienced with a given company. It would be refreshing to hear something positive about a company selling land to Americans – any info is appreciated.
I have met with Craig Williamson (President of ERA) up there, visited with him for many hours, met many of his staff and then we toured the land together where the Guanacaste Country Club will be built and spent two days checking out the area and the project plans.
It’s fairly early days yet but this project looks good to me and is incredibly convenient for travellers that fly into Liberia. We’ll have more on this later …
ERA Realty is a very large and financially strong company so unless something drastic has happened in the last few months since we met, I don’t think that money is a problem here.
