    Can anyone recommend a vet that specalizes in skin problems in dogs – our lab is suffering from fungus (aren’t we all after these last rains) and we cannot seem to get it cleared up with the treatments so far. Thanks –

    There is an excellent vet at the Refugio…Animal Refuge Centre in Heredia. Lillian Schnog speaks English and can help you 2267 7158. Tea Tree Oil also works on skin infections.

    If your local vet can’t clear up the problem, you may need to consult one of the faculty members at the University. Your vet should be able to arrange this.
