Er . . . ah . . . What company?
You need a good attorney who’s well versed in residency law and procedures. There are a number of them around.
Yes I have and obtained residency within 5 months. All you have to do is
get your required paper work together,send it to the U.S. office
and they do the rest. They have lawyers here in C.R.The downside?
Of course it costs more than doing everything yourself but to me
it is worth every extra colon but you may not feel the same. Good luck!!The company he is referring to in his subject line is Residency in Costa Rica.com — and yes, I used them for my residency and they are the BEST team around. You do NOT need a lawyer to navigate the immigration labyrinthe. Javier and his sister know all the ins and outs of getting your residency in record time. And you will NEVER have to stand in line for anything! They are worth every penny. People I know who used a lawyer are still waiting for their residency while the people who used RCR and filed at the same time have had their carnets in hand for a few months now.
They are exceptionally knowledgeable and capable. They just completed Rentista residency for the five of us. We chose them after reading a reference from “Maravilla” last year and we haven’t been disappointed. We submitted our app on December 29th of last year and we took our photos for our Carnets this week. We have three children five and under and we can’t imagine how we would have navigated the appointments without Mayanye leading the way. Her brother Javier takes care of all the paperwork in the US and Mayanye does all of the paperwork and appointments here in Costa Rica. I can’t recommend them enough. I truly don’t think you can find a better team.

Thank you all for your comments about Residency in Costa Rica.com I’m glad to see that they are a reliable resource. From my work I know of foreign companies that for a large fee, tell foreign nationals that they can get US visas for them. This is a rip off since they can’t do anything like that. Glad to know this is not the case here.
