For the Canadian in you:

They’re expected to sign an air transport deal to increase commercial traffic and a deal to exchange tax information.
Great!
I love politicians…
IMHO the only important phrase in this entire article is: “a deal to exchange tax information” which of course is not explained. That’s why we know it’s important.
If I understand this article correctly and sift through the political PR bullsh*t…
The Canadians are here to to “sign an air transport deal to increase commercial traffic” – which will of course benefit Canada far more than Costa Rica – and, the Canadians will pay a small Central American country called Costa Rica a sum of money to help with “security” and in return, Costa Rica will hand over all the tax information it has about Canadians in Costa Rica…
And to make it all sound perfectly innocent, Stephen Harper “will also meet with a local ice hockey team, one of just a handful in all of Latin America. ”
Is that about right do you think?
