Wanted Furnished Rental from November 15 to April 17,2012. $500 – $600 per month.
Must be Furnished and Dog Friendly. Prefer 1or 2 BR,small home or cabin. High speed internet, privacy, near public transportation, fenced yard,security,washer and drier.
Some ambience and character would be nice. San Jose de la Montana would be perfect. Maybe San Isidro de Heredia, Heredia, Grecia, or Santa Anna. retired gentleman who loves his dog.

It will be very difficult for you to find a good rental in Santa Ana for $500-$600, this is prime “executive” area as well as a retirement area but being so close to so many of the “office centers” you will be competing with many young, corporate employees and their families looking for accommodation.
Central Heredia will also be very competitive because there are so many universities and schools in the area but you would be more likely to find what you’re looking for on the outskirts of Heredia than in Santa Ana.
And, even more likely to find what you’re looking for in Grecia or Ciudad Colon or perhaps Puriscal?
Lastly, most Realtors don’t tend to service this end of the market because there’s not too much in it for them so you may be best taking a look at La Nacion classified section… or online at [ http://www.economicos.com/web/homeBienesAlquiler.php ]
I searched Heredia for under c250,000 and found:
