Does anyone know where we can buy a surf casting fishing rod?
We’re talking about a fairly large, and long rod.
The ones here in Quepos are all meant for dock, or boat fishing, any help will be very appreciated.

You MAY be able to find one at Borbon in La Uruca in San Jose. Borbon has a nice selection of fishing equipment by CR standards. They are on the road toward the Land Rover agency going toward downtown on the La Uruca road. You turn left at the light just after the Shell Gas Station and before Land Rover… then go 100 meters to the next light and take a right… go about 100-200 meters and they are on your right. Hope this helps.I also live around Quepos. *I couldn’t find a surf rod and finally got a friend who went to Miami to get me one at Pro Bass. I got a 10ft. one but it is a two piece for $29.
There is also a tackle shop just South of Jaco on the Costanera. It looks pretty serious, though I have never stopped in.
