You have beaten up on one of Costa Rica’s big employers for years Scott so Im thnking you might be interested in reading this:
Allow Failure To Fail. Bank of America teetering on the edge of collapse. By Matt Taibbi
“There are two things every American needs to know about Bank of America.
The first is that it’s corrupt. This bank has systematically defrauded almost everyone with whom it has a significant business relationship, cheating investors, insurers, homeowners, shareholders, depositors, and the state. It is a giant, raging hurricane of theft and fraud, spinning its way through America and leaving a massive trail of wiped-out retirees and foreclosed-upon families in its wake.”

Thanks for that Dixon… I enjoy Matt Taibi’s work…
For those of you who missed them, I wrote a couple of articles about the Bank of America at:
1. Bank Of America Expands In Costa Rica While Firing People In The USA. (November 2009) At: [ https://www.welovecostarica.com/public/2358.cfm ]
2. Still Firing People in the USA But Still Hiring in Costa Rica – Bank of America. (March 2011) At: [ https://www.welovecostarica.com/members/3027.cfm ]
3. Bank of America in Costa Rica – “Endless Opportunities.” (June 2011) At: [ https://www.welovecostarica.com/members/3098.cfm ]
I wonder how this will affect them here…

I actually started my working career working for Bank of America (as a file clerk). However, I worked for the Bank of America that was founded by a great American immigrant named A.P. Giannini. It used to be a great bank but lost its way years ago when it was sold, as I recall, to Nationsbank and eventually morphed into the monster it is today. They should remove the “Bank of America” name (originally Bank of Italy) since what that name represents today is disgusting and degrading to the legacy of the original founders of the Bank.

You could say the same thing about the United States of America, couldn’t you?
