- Please confirm in the same email that you are legally entitled to sell this property and also confirm that you are not a Costa Rica Realtor selling a client’s home.
- Include in the same email at a minimum six quality .jpg format photographs which should preferably be 72 dpi and no more than 500 pixels wide but if you do not know how to change the size, don’t worry! We’ll take care of that for you. These photos should be attached and NOT embedded in your email.
- Remember to state clearly how you would like buyers to contact you and include your full name and email address. The easier you make it for the buyer to contact you, the quicker you will sell your property.
- If all the content and photographs are appropriate, your property will then be posted on WeLoveCostaRica.com within ten business days. If needed, we will contact you and request a better description or clearer photographs.
We can not guarantee that your home will sell immediately but, we can promise you that showcasing your home on WeLoveCostaRica.com means that your home will be seen by more serious Costa Rica real estate buyers than practically any other website out there.

How Do I Describe My Costa Rica Home For Sale?
Here are some questions that will help you give your potential buyers the information they need – please note that we will not write the article for you – although I’m happy to make some ‘tweaks’ so please type up your article (in .txt or .rtf and never in .doc) so that it answers many of the following questions.
Once you have all of answers to the questions below (please include the questions as well as the answers) and the photographs, please email everything in one email to this address.
- Where exactly is the home located?
- How long does it take to get to the nearest international airport?
- When was the house last on the market?
- How far to San Jose in A: Miles and B: Minutes travel time?
- Do you know who designed your home?
- Do you know which builder built your home?
- Do you know which architect designed your home?
- Did you do your own interior design or did you have a professional to help you?
- What are the exact measurements of the land in square meters and square feet?
- How many square meters or square feet of construction in the house?
- How big is the living room?
- How many bedrooms are there? What sizes?
- How many bathrooms?
- Is this an individual house or condominium?
- How much is monthly maintenance?
- What services exactly are included for that monthly maintenance fee??
- Is there a maid’s room?
- How many floors?
- How big is the garden in square meters and square feet?
- Is there a swimming pool? If so what size?
- In what year was the home built?
- What type of construction?
- How many telephone lines?
- Is there cable internet access in your area? If so which company?
- Is the owner of the property a person or a corporation?
- What is your asking price?
- Will you offer seller financing?
- Has your home been featured in any architectural or real estate magazines?
- What feature of your home have you most enjoyed?
- What is the ‘folio real’ property identification number? (This will not be published but we must have this information which will be checked) The ‘Folio Real’ number should be a 6 digit number follow by a dash and three digits like as in 000.000-000
- Please be as personal as you can when you tell us what are your top ten favorite things that you will miss about living in this home?
What Photographs Should You Include
If there is enough ‘copy’ we can include ten photos. To efficiently portray your property for sale, at a minimum please send us at least six photographs and you should include:
- Frontal view of the home
- The kitchen
- The living room
- The master bedroom
- The garden and swimming pool if available
- If there is a spectacular view, please include photographs of that view
- If you have a map which clearly shows where the property is located, that would also help.
Please try NOT to include photographs with pets in them… You and I may love animals but some buyers are finicky and do not want to see animals in the home they are thinking about buying.
Please DO NOT use the time and date feature on your camera! Few people want to see the dates on your photographs.
