Welcome to Finca Esperanza (Farm of Hope). We are located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, just 10-15 minutes from the beaches of Playa Tamarindo, Flamingo, Grande, Conchal and Brasilito. Located in the mountains surrounding the beach communities, our property offers peace and relaxation that cannot be found in the beach towns.

Enjoy views of the countryside, wildlife and distant mountains, here you will feel like you are in the heart of unexplored Costa Rica, yet you will only be 10 minutes away from all the fun and activities in our area.

We offer very affordable daily, weekly and monthly rates, for 1 and 2 bedroom homes and apartments, which feature all amenities, use of the swimming pool, Internet, cable TV and full kitchens.

In our area, you can enjoy many activities including horseback riding, fishing, golfing, shopping, diving, surfing, hiking, exploring, not to mention just relaxing and watching the beautiful wildlife and scenery. Our property is located within a gated, ranch community with horse trails and a stable.

Next door is the famous Monkey Park Wildlife center and across the street is the Equestrian Center, where you can rent horses or take a guided tour around the Ranch. Just a 10 minute drive will get you to the pristine white sand beaches of Playa Grande and Playa Conchal, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to towns of Tamarindo and Flamingo, where you can find pretty much anything you need. Shopping, banks, and great restaurants are aplenty.

Our rentals in Costa Rica are brand new, well maintained and feature the following:

Finca Esperanza is a work in progress. We hope to have a butterfly garden, an organic garden, animals, and an aviary. As of now, we have fruit trees, indigenous trees and plants, an iguana that lives in the waterfall, tree frogs when it rains, lightening bugs and starry, starry nights.

The ranch has many maintained roads for hiking, walking or jogging where you can spot monkeys, birds, iguanas, armadillos, deer and coatimundis – to name a few.

We can also help you plan any activities you might want to do in the area during your stay. With a 15-minute drive, you can get to three different 18 hole golf courses, sports fishing, surfing, canopy tours, diving, horseback riding and ATV tours.

Boat trips can be arranged for fishing, diving, and surfing trips. As to eating out, many fine dining establishments are located in the towns of Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Brasilito or Flamingo, all are just a short drive away. Those towns also feature great nightlife and live music.

Costa Rica Vacation Rental Prices.

We have both one and two bedroom rentals, with the following rates:

One Bedroom Rental Rates: $130 for the first 3 nights (minimum), $30 additional nights. $210 per week and please inquire for monthly rates.

This is a one bedroom apartment located in front of the swimming pool. It has a full kitchen with stove/oven and full fridge. It has a large living room with pullout Sofa Bed, coffee table, entertainment center with TV/DVD and a dining table with chairs.

Great views of the mountains out the kitchen and living rooms, with a large bedroom with Queen bed and closet, desk and nightstand.

Two Bedroom Rental Rates: $180 for the first 3 nights (minimum), $50 additional nights. $300 for the week and please inquire for monthly rates.

This is a separate, private home with a large front patio facing the view of the mountains; it has a full kitchen with granite counter tops, large gas Oven/Stove and full Fridge. Two separate bedrooms with one Queen and one King bed, both with walk in closets and dressers.

There’s a large living room with a Sofa Bed, Coffee table and wooden chairs, entertainment center with TV/DVD player, and nice views out the sliding glass doors in the front.
