I asked him about the infrastructure in Dominical and he told me about the brand new hospital, a wonderful community of expats, a few good schools and how his wife is now as enthusiastic as John is about living in Costa Rica.
I asked John to tell us why someone should consider living in Dominical and we spoke about how he fell in love with Costa Rica and it’s people on his very first trip – as many of us have…
John remembers being impressed with the fresh air in the Southern Zone, the lack of traffic, the lack of consumerism, with a fresh look on life and some wonderful business opportunities.
“We’ve got a really good thing going” he says and “we made a heck of a choice“!
John jokes about Costa Rica being good for his fertility, how his daughter – who is not even six years old – is learning three different languages. He speaks of the pleasant people of Costa Rica – the Ticos – and how it’s a great place to raise a family because it’s a “much healthier environment” and Costa Ricans welcome kids and how families allow children to be children.
