Sundays and Mondays are the best days to look for Costa Rica jobs in the country’s largest newspaper – La Nacion – and each week it seems that more than ever, the display advertisements are in English.
Professionals with English, French, and Portuguese skills are amongst the most sought after with engineers, accountants, finance specialists and manufacturing specialists being the careers in high demand.
34 multinational leading companies in the services and life sciences sectors will meet in the Antigua Aduana on 18th, 19th, and 20th of February 2011 to offer people fluent in a second language more than 4,400 job opportunities.
Companies are also looking to recruit software developers, web designers, technical support personnel, digital animators, accounting, electronics, microbiology, manufacturing technicians and customer service agents.

“The job creation that these companies are responsible for is key for the development of the country. The growth that established companies have undergone by integrating new technologies and services to their processes, as well as the arrival of new companies with innovative operations generate more opportunities for specialist technicians and professionals is several areas. The Job Fair will provide the public almost 4,400 opportunities of this nature” expressed Llobet.
