The filming of HGTV’s new show “Live Here, Buy This” is officially a wrap!

The filming of the different areas along the Pacific Coast from Playa Flamingo (Potrero), Conchal, Tamarindo and Manuel Antonio took a total of two weeks. There will be six homes featured (two per area) as well as many tourist attractions along the way.

The show is new to the network and both HGTV Canada and USA have purchased 26 episodes to air in April 2012. I will be featured alongside the host Dave Lapsley of Toronto to show three families back in Canada what they can afford if they sold everything and moved abroad – in this case to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica will be featured in three 30-minute episodes alongside two other countries that the families choose. It’s our job to show the families the best properties out there for the money and to showcase the lifestyle of our beautiful country.

Amongst the properties shown will be four homes and two condos. A special thanks to Scott Cutter for arranging the showings of two amazing luxury properties that were filmed and will be shown in the Manuel Antonio area.

The budgets of the clients ranged from US$300,000 to US$1.6 million.
