Intel Says: “Costa Rica Is The Best Option To Expand.”
This week James Kirkland who is the vice president of Client Computer Group, the largest and most profitable unit of Intel corporation worldwide spoke about their decision to expand their Client Computer Group in Costa Rica.
From specialized manufacturing, Costa Rica took a high jump to become part of the development and design of Intel products.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Trade (Comex), the Client Computer Group (CCG), the largest and most profitable business unit of the corporation in the global arena, will create about 200 jobs in the country.
Since early this year, the company opened a department of the development and creation of components and technologies, which was officially opened yesterday.
Although company spokespeople avoid giving figures, Global Vice President of CCG, James Kirkland, he spoke about the impact they hope to have in the country and the efforts of local universities to accommodate the demand for new engineers.
