“A ship in a harbour is a safe ship but, that’s not what ships are built for” is a quote I hurriedly scribbled down listening to a terrific video interview with Peter Sage, a successful British entrepreneur.
I love this quote!
It reminds me of all the wonderful expats I have met who are really living their lives, taking good care of themselves, their families and really enjoying this new adventure called Costa Rica.
Because sitting at work doing your ‘job’ each day your body may be “safe” but it’s certainly not what you were designed for, wouldn’t you agree?
You should be moving, walking, exploring, laughing (remember that?), loving and pushing yourself both physically, emotionally and intellectually.
You know…
All the wonderful things that you would normally do when you move to Costa Rica, a land full of stunning scenery, sunshine and smiles.
By the way, did you know that people today must set aside THREE TIMES AS MUCH money to save for retirement as their parents and grandparents did because of today’s ridiculously low interest rates?
Some places even have negative interest rates so come on down to Costa Rica! Come create the new life you always dreamed of but never thought you’d ever have…
