Our construction crew continued sanding down the floors and started installing the ceramic tiles in the bodega and then the garage area.

We have given what we ‘think’ are clear instructions and measurements for the construction of the bathroom cabinet and the kitchen cabinets.

We have now finished putting the little river rocks on the chimney, the living room wall, the dining room wall and around the front door.

 

There were no major purchases this week, only the usual c250,000 payment to the crew, with the balance (currently US$7,327.05) to be paid once the home is finished.

Construction began during the first week of January 2009 and as of the 29th May 2009 the total cost so far in building this vacation or retirement home in the country has been US$72,587.96 plus the cost of the 5,000 square meters of land.
