1. Do you know which of these developers have financial problems?
2. Do you know which developer likes to attract unsuspecting buyers with unreal low prices that doesn’t even include the lights?
3. Do you know which developer is famous for promising buyers the ‘world’ but never delivers?

These are just a a few of the reasons that I would strongly recommend that you buy your new home or apartment with the help of an experienced Realtor.

Many buyers wrongly assume that they will pay more when they buy their home with a Realtor. You should know that in Costa Rica weather you buy your home direct from the developer or with the help of a Realtor, you will normally pay the exact same price.

As an example: Real estate developers in our geographical area in Santa Ana and Escazu near San José rarely pay the Realtor more than 3% in sales commissions for a successful sale and they will normally charge the buyer the exact same price if they buy direct.

So in my humble opinion, you have to be out of your tiny little mind to buy direct because only an experienced Realtor will be able to give you an expert opinion about which developer would be the best for you.

Only a trusted real estate advisor will be able to discretely inform you which developer you should stay away from and this expert advice could literally save you tens of thousands of dollars and a boatload of headaches!
