Both teak plantations are located in what is considered by most experts to be the best area for growing teak in Costa Rica.

The first plantation is located between Jicaral and Playa Coyote in Puntarenas bordering Guanacaste.

49 of these hectares are planted with teak which is one year old regrowth which will be ready for production in 8-10 years with a 70-90 cm average.

The plantation has roads connecting it throughout and it has perfect access throughout the year, rain or shine.

Electricity runs through the plantation. Only 40 minutes from the Naranjo ferry and just 40 minutes from Playa Coyote.

The second teak plantation is beautiful with fresh water year round via a natural spring on the property. You’ll find some huge trees and a lovely river in one of the hectares reserved for building a grand home.

The rest is planted with teak, 4 hectares of 7 year old teak and 18 hectares with one and a half years old teak.

Fertilizer is used twice a year, this will be a beautiful plantation and the growth of the teak in this area is superb so in 12 years this teak will be at a 70-90cm average.

This teak farm for sale is located about 20 minutes from the other plantation for sale in La Fresca and about one hour away from Cobano.

These two teak plantations are being sold separately but if the same buyer wants both we can negotiate a small discount.

Both plantations measure 74 hectares which is about 183 acres.

Priced at what most are buying bare land in conditions ready to plant but without the teak being planted already, we are looking for a quick sale with a serious buyer looking for a long term safe investment.

The full grown teak will be worth around US$2.5 – US$3 million depending on how quickly the wood is extracted (10 vs 16 years of age) and the property values continue to steadily increase over the years.

The company has invested in the planting and management of the 80 hectares and is now looking to sell its investment later this year, the teak farms are priced accordingly and management will listen to reasonable offers.
