El Punto Taller Gastronómico Restaurant. Simply superb food and possibly the best Spanish cooking in Costa Rica.
My wife and I love to eat and we’re always thrilled when we find a terrific new restaurant that consistently serves superb food.
Jimena Montesinos and her brother Rodrigo Montesinos are originally from Mexico but are now living and cooking (gracias a Dios) in Guachipelin de Escazu, Costa Rica.
Rodrigo has trained and worked as a professional Chef in one of my favourite cities in Spain, San Sebastián which is well known for their superb cuisine.
The 12 hour S-L-O-W cooked pork was fall-off-the-fork delicious and the scallops, lamb and beef dishes we ordered were all superb!
Although Rodrigo is still a young man, his superb culinary talents are apparent from the first bite of his S-L-O-W cooked food.
My wife and I spent a month travelling in Europe last year and we both love food so we had to spend a week eating great food and drinking wonderful wines in San Sebastian however it’s an expensive hobby!
Thankfully you can now enjoy San Sebastián quality food in El Punto Taller Gastronómico Restaurant in Guachipelin de Escazu at Costa Rica prices… Highly recommended!
