One of our VIP Members has been asking me for a video of the toll booths in Escazu…
Not quite sure why Charlie wants to see the video but today when I had drop by and see a Doctor friend at Hospital CIMA, I shot this video out of the car window…
This short two minute video taken from the car shows the Escazu toll booth, Hospital CIMA, the enormous MultiPlaza shopping mall and Hotel InterContinental.

Sorry! I’ll turn the sound off next time I shoot video out of the car.
Of course this is the most impressive section of the entire highway.
If tourists only see this they might be impressed but a few miles down the road our “new highway” unfortunately turns into one lane each way at places.
But, there’s no doubt that our “new highway” is still far quicker than taking the old road to the Pacific coast…
