Hello all,
British Airways and Chase have reopened a promotion for a Chase credit card where you receive 50,000 miles upon the first use and another 50,000 if you spend $2000 within the first 90 days. You also receive 1.25 miles for every $1 spent. You can use these miles to fly American Airlines to the US for 35,000 per roundtrip giving you 3 round trips for the $75 credit card fee. There is a blog where some people have gotten the $75 fee reversed by calling Chase. I applied for the card back when it was first advertised in November and currently have 106,000 miles to use to travel. When I book a trip to the US on American Airlines the taxes are $30.72. But if I book a trip from the US to Europe for 50,000 miles, the taxes increase to $514. So for me I will use the miles to travel back to the US for visits. And you can use the miles for 4 R/T tickets inside the continental US as well on American Airlines. Here is the link:
