I am retired & have a 401k. I have heard u can rollover money in 401k to but real estate.
Anyone have any info on this type transaction?From what I have read on the subject, you can roll over a 401k into a self-directed IRA and invest in real estate, but you cannot reside or use the real estate for your benefit or the benefit of family members. All transacations must be executed by the IRA Custodian, like PENSCO Trust that specializes in this type of investment.
