Are there golf courses in CR that are affordable to the average person?
Can you play all year round?
Yes and yes. However get early (crack of dawn) tee times so you don’t sweat to death and have to drink a case of beer every nine holes and bring your own clubs and golf balls – rentals are crap and balls are expensive and easy to lose in the jungle.
Most of the courses are operate by the hotels and are expensive or are private clubs. In the Central Valley you may find what you want.
