Hi Scott –
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I know you titled your article “Angry Hummingbird” but I am sure if you harken back to that brief moment you may realize that there was a subtle smile on Rocky’s little face and a twinkle in his eye that said “Thank’s son, for all you have done to make me proud!”Of course you don’t speak the tongue of hummingbirds, so you couldn’t respond to Rocky, but I am sure your father heard the love in your telephone message loud and clear!

I should have come up with a better headline but I hadn’t slept for two days by that point and was a wee bit tired.
Dad’s funeral is next Thursday (with the Easter break this was the earliest time available) so I’ll probably be back in Costa Rica the following week.
It’s obviously not a ‘happy’ time but it has been great to visit family and friends and enjoy a few pints of ale.
