Alexander Acosta, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and Henry Gutierrez, Postal Inspector in Charge, United States Postal Inspection Service, announced that five defendants pled guilty to a one count Information charging them with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. James Settembrino and Bernardo Susi pled guilty yesterday, while Lee Samuel, Charles Bohn and Benjamin Goss pled guilty today.”
These companies hire the best around eh?
April 7, 2007 at 10:42 am #181787MSG1014Memberanother big surprise, a person with a questionable backround selling land in Costa Rica via the telephone from South Florida.
May 25, 2007 at 3:54 pm #181788woodyMemberoh my god, i have read this entire blog, and i cant believe my eyes, man, this guy and company, makes the other questionable guys in cr selling property look like mother terresa, scott you know who i am talking about, i read the whole court case against the llc manager of costa developers, and couldnt believe my ears…
know a guy who had escrowed money on a lot in reserva, in which the sales person told him it was about a mile of the water, well i went with this guy to see his property and it looks more like 14 miles off the water, what a bait and switch they have…
May 26, 2007 at 2:25 pm #181789geminigioMemberYou are very wrong my friend..I just came back from touring Reserva and the ocean is approx. 1 to 1/2 mile from the Reserva site (if that far), depending where you are on the Reserva site. Please state the facts, I’m sure you don’t want to look like a fool who is posting the wrong information, right? If you don’t like the company, fine that’s your choice but don’t lie, you would be doing a disservice to your fellow members.

May 26, 2007 at 2:45 pm #181790woodyMemberok, well i am betting man, and if you got 5000 dollars, and want to go with me, i will even let you clock on the odomoter, its more that 2 miles down that dirt road before you even get to the entry way..so i need a quick 5, and by the way i am a very experienced egn. and developer
May 26, 2007 at 4:14 pm #181791genn789MemberNo no no no……. From the Reserva to the highway it is at least 2 miles. Coming from the Reserva you turn right on the Costanera Highway. Then you make a left turn to the village and beach, another 2 miles. Total not 14 but at least 4 miles (± 2 hours walk).
Artie please don’t lie about the distance. The maps on the website are clear, so anybody can see it is a very long walk (or drive).
The first time you will walk to the Beach Club, but only once, then you will go by car.
May 26, 2007 at 4:22 pm #181792geminigioMemberI’m not lying about the distance and I am insulted you would suggest that. I was driving in my car and i thoguth it seemed like two miles at most…If I’m wrong (since i did not officially clock it on my odometer) and it seems you did, then fine, I’ll say I was wrong and it could be 4 miles. But, it is certainly not 14 miles…I will consider this subject closed now, no reason to continue talking about it..Thanks for writing.

The infra structure is there; electricity and water & roads are pavers and about 50% complete. The company worked closely with Tarcoles people to get this done. My name is Howard Armstrong I would be more than glad to communicate with anyone regarding this project. Can you say the same MSG1014? Lay out your facts, as a property owner there I will be more than glad to listen to them.
