Hi everyone!
I am interested in a lote in San Francisco de Heredia. My tico brother-in-law spoke to the owner and he quoted a price per m2 that was quite outrageous. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to find the average price per m2 in an area.
Thanks!
Carlos
There is no reliable data on the actual sale prices of any land anywhere in Costa Rica. Combine that lack of information with the variance in the types and qualities of land, even parcels that are close together, and the picture becomes cloudier still.
If you find a parcel at a price you’re willing to pay, that’s the right price.
You might ask our Recommended Realtor in Heredia – Phil Hemion.
I have no doubt he could give you a clear indication of values for the region.
