Is there any Organized baseball for youth in CR. If not do you think there might be any business Opportunities in this area? Baseball is a big factor in our lives and will play a part in our decision to move from the USA. Thanks for your thoughts.
I haven’t seen organized baseball for youth here–soccer is the main sport. All I have seen are some softball leagues for adults around Sabana Park in San Jose. Maybe you should check out Panama or Nicaragua instead? Baseball is just not a sport people are all that interested in or familiar with here, and they idolize soccer players. All I can say is thank God for MLB.com and live baseball on demand!
They do make Rawlings baseballs in Turrialba though!
All get exported, I expect.
I wouldn’t invest in this sport here.
Maybe not [i]quite as popular[/i] as cricket…:lol:
