Hello,
I am asking for any info that you all might have on the best place for prices on counter tops. We are planning to use either “Cuartzo” or “Compac Quartz”
We used “SileStone” in the States, love it, and these two brands seem to be the equivalent here in Costa Rica.
We prefer the man made stone counter over natural granite.
I name these two because those are the two that we found when checking the stores around Escazu and at ConstruPlaza.
Long story short, after pricing out the various places, we found that ConstruPlaza had the best price….that is until I checked back with them, and all of a sudden my color choice increased almost $100 per meter from the original price. So, I feel like I am back at the beginning.
Before we make the trip back into town, I wanted to see if anyone knew of the best place to buy.
I realize that Escazu may not be the best place to get good deals, but that is what I am familiar with.
So the question again is:
Does anyone have a good source for this material?
We can use the Central Vally, but we are in Quepos, in case that matters.
